Apply for the Display Cases or Art Gallery

The Trustees of the Burlington Public Library welcome individuals or organizations to exhibit artwork or informational postings in the Library at 22 Sears Street. Three spaces are provided: a front display case, a rear art gallery, and bulletin boards on the 2nd floor.

The front display cases are glass-fronted locking cases in the entry and exit lobbies at the front of the Library.  They are ideal for displaying three-dimensional objects, but can also be used to display flyers, photographs, or papers mounted on a firm backing.

The rear art gallery is a well-lit area in the first floor Fiction collection area of the Library.   The rear art gallery features a rail and cable system to easily hang artwork or other framed items with.

Bulletin boards are located on the 2nd floor of the Library, nearest the magazines and newspapers, in order to provide relevant information for the community.  This space is intended for informational flyers from local non-profits, local aid organizations, and/or government entities.

Applicants are required to read and adhere to the Display Case, Art Gallery, and Bulletin Board Policy.  In addition, applicants should review the Public Exhibit Space Procedures to know what to expect when exhibiting.  You can apply through the forms provided below.  Approved applicants will be required to submit an Exhibitor Release Form upon approval.  Any questions can be addressed by contacting Cara Enos (Assistant Director) at 781-505-4985 or by email.
