Romantic Suspense Genre Guide

More and more, authors are blurring the lines between genres, and romance is no exception. Romantic suspense novels, sometimes known as romantic thrillers, combine the elements of danger and intrigue of traditional mystery thrillers with the emotion and focus on relationships that readers expect from the typical romance novel. Depending on the author, a given story might focus more on the mystery aspect or the developing relationship, but it should always include some of both. The blending of these two classic genres can add new layers interest, so if you are a fan of either, it might be time to give romantic suspense a try!
