Tiny Art Show 2026

The Tiny Art Show is BACK for a second year. This time, all ages are welcome to participate until the supplies run out, and we're doubling the time you have to create your mini-masterpiece.  

Kit Pickup: Starting Tuesday, 2/10 at 10AM - Pickup Children & Teen kits at the Youth Services Desk (first floor), and Adult kits at the Reference Desk (upstairs)

Deadline to Return Art: Friday, 2/27 at 6PM

Contest Rules:

• Eligibility – Open to patrons of all ages, but limited to those that are able to get a kit before we run out (due to display case limitations). We will have 30 kits for adults, 30 kits for teens, and 40 kits for children.  Library staff, contest judges, and their family members are not eligible to enter.
• Entry Limit – One submission per participant.
• Canvas - Must use provided canvas and easel
• Voting & Judging – Winners will be selected through a combination of public voting and judge evaluation.  The public will vote from the entry display running in March.  Tell your friends!
• Reception – Participants are encouraged to attend the reception on March 26 at 5:30PM.
• Submission Deadline – Completed artwork, along with the provided canvas and easel, must be returned in this designated bag to the Reference OR Youth Service Desk by 6PM on Friday, February 27. Late entries will not be accepted. 
• Artwork Pickup – After the reception, artists will have one week to claim their work.
• Art Guidelines
  • Artwork must be 2D and fit within the 4” x 4” area.
  • Must be connected to the theme in some way - theme remains a mystery until you pick up your kit!
  • Use any medium you would like!
  • The artist's name must not appear on the canvas.
  • Artwork must be appropriate for all ages.
